High Point University is committed to academic excellence. With small classes, caring professors teaching every class, and myriad student success stories, we have positioned our University as a place for learners to thrive. The array of majors is vast and each has been uniquely designed to challenge, inspire and transform.
High Point University’s goal is to feed their students’ appetite for academic achievement and equip them for further education, the job market or a life of service. Within the classroom environment, students find High Point professors to be engaging mentors, eager to share their own research and scholarly interests; and beyond the classroom students are constantly met with opportunities to learn in a very practical and innovative way. It is High Point University’s signature experiential learning program that differentiates this collegiate experience from others. Students have opportunities for Study Abroad, Study America, off-campus practicum and internships, independent study, undergraduate research and collaboration, service learning, and volunteer partnerships with numerous nonprofit agencies.
