Walsh Academics

Walsh University students can choose from 60 undergraduate majors, seven graduate programs including doctorate programs in physical therapy and nursing, and – for working adults – an accelerated degree program in our School for Professional Studies. For students who have not yet decided their desired area of study, Walsh University will work with them to find a program that fits their interests and skill sets.
The experienced faculty at Walsh University comes from all over the world to offer an international perspective, which is always rooted in faith. With a 15 to 1 student/teacher ratio, Walsh fosters an academic environment that encourages students to interact closely with its faculty members.
All of Walsh University’s academic programs are designed to educate the whole student - mind, body and spirit - through hands-on, experiential learning that goes beyond the books. Students at Walsh University gain insights outside the classroom through internships, on-site training, student teaching opportunities, and service learning.
At Walsh, the faculty believes that leaders are created through service to others. That is why volunteer work is not only encouraged, it's a requirement of Walsh University’s core curriculum.
Walsh University provides its students a unique type of higher education that fosters critical thinking, effective communication, spiritual growth, and personal, professional and cultural development.
